Growing a garden or working in your yard this year? Whether you grow fruits and vegetables or ornamental plants such as trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals in your garden and landscape, reiki can encourage your plants to thrive.

Reiki is the natural healing universal life force energy most commonly used by reiki healers with people and pets. Many reiki practitioners also give reiki to their food before they eat.

But did you know you can give reiki to plants and your garden?

Imagine how reiki can help your plants grow strong and healthy. You can give your plants reiki daily, weekly, monthly or at random periods. Any amount of reiki will benefit your plants. You’ll see the most benefit with more frequency.

We know that positive talk, positive or healing music and positive, loving intent can all encourage your garden to thrive.

Masuro Emoto’s work showed that water given positive words froze into crisp, beautiful, and orderly ice crystals. Negative words resulted in distorted, poorly formed crystals.

This is exactly what we need today. Our yards, land and plants have suffered from decades of chemicals and depletion. They need healing. And reiki can help provide that.

How do you give reiki to plants and soil?

If you’re not a reiki practitioner, it’s easy to become one by being attuned to reiki so reiki healing energy can flow through you. In reiki level 2, you will be given reiki symbols one of which helps boost the power of reiki where you send it. Attunements are given by reiki masters.

If you’re already a reiki practitioner or master, it’s easy to give reiki to plants or soil.

Simply offer reiki through your palms to the plant or soil area.
You can actually touch it or just hold your hands a little distance away. I like to touch the soil, but I often offer reiki a few inches away to plants.
You can use the power symbol and words and – for reiki masters – the master symbol and words, too.
I like to hold unconditional loving kindness for the plants and soil as I give reiki to them.
Duration of giving reiki? A few moments or minutes will suffice.

That’s it! Very simple and easy.

Another secret benefit is you may find the plants will start telling your intuition if they have a need or problem.
