Intuition- Our natural guide to right action

 
Intuition can be a valuable guide to help you know what you want, make good choices in your life, improve relationships and have optimal, natural health.

If you are like most people, you sometimes feel you’re living in the dark or a fog of uncertainty. We can become confused about our way, whether from fear of the future or not making the ‘right’ choice or because we have conflicting information or a lack of clear information.

  
What decision to make? What choice to take?

 
We can’t see the future outcome, but we can open to the guidance and messages from our heart and spirit, that still small voice we hear somewhere deep in our mind. We can listen to the messages our body sends us- a tension here, an open feeling there, a shrinking, a pull towards. These are all signs from our intuition, spirit, heart’s desire, subconscious mind. Go for it, wait, don’t do it. If we listen to ourselves, we can gain clarity on our path. We can begin to know the next right action.

 
Is our intuition ever wrong?

 
Yes and No. Our intuitive feelings are never ‘wrong’. They are extremely accurate messages and guidance that are very important to heed. That said, sometimes our intuition is clouded by our past experiences and present desires. Sometimes our intuition is based on partial information and would be different if we had a more complete picture.

 
Sometimes we misinterpret our feelings for intuition because we want something so badly or we are afraid. Sometimes intuition is distorted by our past or by our desire to please, influence or conform to someone else.

 
If you want something badly, are very scared, or feel the influence of others, sit quietly with your self on more than one occasion. Allow your intuition to speak at its own speed and in its own way.

 
Use your intuitive information as one more tool in your toolbox of emotional intelligence. Be humble. 

  
Couple your intuition with ongoing feedback and guidance from your body, mind, spirit and your ever changing environment. Check in with yourself frequently to see if anything has changed.

 
Act. When you act upon your intuition, watch the results like an observer.

Does this action have a right feel? Does it move you forward? Does the universe seem to support that action? Do things start to fall in place? Do interesting coincidences start to happen?

 
If your answers are ‘yes’, congratulations on a great intuition-world match. If your answers are ‘no’, you might want to consider revisiting your intuition for more information. It may also be that you are simply not in the right time or place for a match between your intuition and the world. Another time or place might be more effective or you might want to consider a different approach and set of actions for your situation.

 
You can also give yourself  more energy to take those actions, if you are feeling low energy, tiredness, inertia or blocked.
